Preguntas Frecuentes

Where and when can I choose my preferred time to enter Machupicchu?

After you have made your reservation, we will ask you a few questions to find out your preferences.

Why is it better to spend the night in Aguas Calientes before visiting Machupicchu?

It is because this way you can enter Machupicchu from 6:00 am, the earliest entry time. In addition, it is a more relaxed experience since it spreads many hours of bus and train travel over two days instead of doing it all at once.

When is the best time to enter Machupicchu?

In the dry season (April-October) we recommend entering Machupicchu as early as possible to avoid crowds. A good alternative is in the afternoon, since there are fewer people. In the rainy season (October-March) it is best to enter in the late morning or early afternoon, as it is usually foggy in the morning.

What do I do with my luggage if I stay in Aguas Calientes before visiting Machupicchu?

You can leave your luggage at your hotel in Cusco or in the Sacred Valley and only take the most necessary. All hotels offer a free storage service.
